Description
The Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8 DC HSM lens for Canon EF-mount is a versatile zoom lens that offers exceptional optics and a useful range of telephoto focal lengths. With a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture, the lens provides consistent low-light performance throughout the zoom range, allowing for greater control over focus placement and shallow depth of field. The optical design includes low dispersion and high-refractive index elements, which help to suppress aberrations, color fringing, and distortion, resulting in high clarity and sharpness. The lens is also equipped with a Super Multi-Layer Coating that reduces lens flare and ghosting, improving contrast and color accuracy. The 50-100mm lens features an advanced Hyper Sonic Motor, as well as an internal focusing and zoom design that provides fast, quiet, and precise autofocus performance. Additionally, the lens includes a tripod collar that improves stability when used with a tripod or monopod.
