The day has finally come where a camera will edit video for you (all videographers rejoice!). The Graava has five different sensors: a camera, microphone, accelerometer, GPS, and a heart rate monitor. It can detect objects entering the frame, change in speed, changes in sound frequencies, and even monitors your heart rate to detect excitement or fear. These awesome sensors help the camera determine which moments are interesting or boring.

As a videographer, I edit video all the time. It will be very interesting to see how Graava chooses these exciting and dull moments. That is how it knows which parts to keep or delete. For me, the idea that a camera edits video for you seems…a little crazy. I really hope the creators of Graava send one to Casey Neistat to test it out in a Vlog.

However, this is a great idea and I hope it leads to more advanced technology so that I don’t have to edit video anymore (lol). It’s not GoPro, but does have cool features like hyperlapse video, looping mode, image stabilization, bluetooth, wifi, and fixed focus. Can’t wait to see the reviews for it on Youtube. You can pre-order it Graava’s website for $250.00 (original price $400).
