The rumor mill is saying that another 24mm is in the works to be released by the end of this year.

According to Sigma rumors, this new Sigma 24mm would be one of their DN (Designed for Mirrorless crop sensor bodies), with an aperture of F/2.8. It would join the current family of semi-fast F/2.8  DN Art primes in the 19mm, 30mm, and 60mm focal lengths.

The 24mm would go well with their line of mirrorless lenses, but according to the rumor, this lens would only be available in the Sony E mount, not MFT like their previous lenses in the DN line.

Sigma will definitely get a lot of flack for this if they announce another lens before the long-anticipated 85mm f/1.4 art lens. At the same time, Sony fans will have lenses for their APS-C cameras, just not their full frames.

At this point, the lens is seen to have a September release this year.
